This letter is to thank you and inform you about a Termite and Pest Control Inspector who called on me yesterday, and gave me the utmost in service. He came promptly at the appointed time. Unfortunately, I was running late. He was kind enough to circle back with me. When I answered the door, my cocker spaniel puppy ran out the door. My service technician recognized the problem and kindly spoke to my puppy, and she came right up to him and sat down.

When we met in the living room, he explained the many services that Terminix offers. When I had questions he gave me intelligent and relevant answers. All the while my puppy was engaging in puppy play with him on the sofa. When the basement inspection was finished, he was kind enough to not allow my puppy downstairs. When he did the outside inspections, he was kind enough to explain the type of termites that are in the area, how they migrate to food sources, and what prevention measures are safe and effective. He became my expert in Termite and Pest Control. He was also aware enough to make sure the backyard gate was securely closed. (My puppy likes to run out of our gated yard.)

This letter is to thank him and Terminix for his exceptional service and inspection. He was professional, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Plus he became fast friends with my puppy and was aware enough to know her escape routes in advance. In short, he is the best services and inspection representative I have seen in my lifetime. I plan to speak to all my friends and neighbors about this terrific experience and to recommend my service technician and Terminix to everyone.

I visited my 89 year old mom with my 75 pound sheepdog, SweetPea in December. Unknown to me, SweetPea had fleas and left a few at my mom's home. In a few weeks they began jumping on her since I had removed their feeding ground by taking the dog home. In January, February, and March we both saw a flea here and there but nothing to serious. Had I only known that a flea is only on it's host for 5% of its lifetime. The other 95% it is in your carpet laying additional eggs and hatching additional fleas. When April rolled around with the warmer weather we both started seeing additional pests.

I called Terminix since I knew they had been in business in the Metro DC Area for quite a few years. They were very professional and as time was of the essence, since I was concerned about my mom's age and them feeding on her, their response was extremely timely, within 24 hours. The reason I am writing today is because the gentleman that came to the house took the time to explain the process to my Mom and I. He was patient with my Mom as she is forgetful at times. He explained that Terminix would come back if we continued to see fleas spreading in the house. He even told my mom to ask for him and he would come back. I feel that our serviceman exemplified the type of professional that Terminix would be proud to have as a member of their team. He even took the time to talk to us after he had completed the exterminating of the house.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Terminix and the professional way we were handled through the whole process. Even the individual I spoke with on the phone showed concern for my mom and the pests residing at her residence. Thank you so much Terminix for your assistance with our pest problems.

My story begins with a phone call. I have a brother that works at the Carolton Branch. I asked him what was the importance of termite inspections and why do you need it. He informed me that my home is the biggest investment and that getting the prevention is worth peace of mind. By the end of the phone call I was convinced I needed an inspection. The Midland Branch has been wonderful. They have gone to please us with service. I owe my brother for teaching me and keeping my home safe from termites. Thanks to the Carolton Branch and thanks to the Midland Branch for truly showing how Terminix is a big family no matter where you might live.

I just wanted to let someone at Terminix know that I have been using your service for almost a year now. I have had a service man for my last three visits and he has done a great job taking care of my pest problem. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to eliminate my problem..(which is MUCH better by the way) and did it all while being polite and professional. I have to tell you that a good attitude is rare with people doing service work these days and it is nice to work with people who treat you well. I will suggest your service to my friends and family in hopes that they will also experience the good service I received.

On 4/11/09 I discovered I had a second round of Termites. Unable to contact the company that had treated our home in '08 I decided to contact Terminix based on the commercials. I called at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon very upset that I had Termites again the operator was vey understanding and helped calm me down. She said she would see if she could get a tech to call me back as soon as possible. About 5 minutes later I received a call from a service man who was very pleasant and said he would be at my home within the hour. About 45 min later he showed up on a Saturday afternoon and stayed until after 7:30 working with us. He calmed our nerves and asured us his team would be out to take care of our issue on Monday morning. He helped us get the financing we needed to have the work done which was no easy task. He was very professional, clean and caring, yes, just like on TV. Can't wait until Monday to get the work done and to be able to sleep again. If the service I receive from the tech who will be treating our home is anything like the service we have already received then I will be very happy. Thank you TERMINIX.

I'd had nothing but top-notch service with your fine company in all my travels....from my years spent in Texas to Tennessee and now WV. You've been there to answer my every question and quelch whatever pest problem existed! Bravo to the fine men and women of Terminix!

I had my service by a new person on 3/26/09. He was very informative in all he did when he serviced my home. I was very pleased with his knowledge in reference to knowning where and how to make sure the service was complete. He took extra steps which I was very pleased with. It takes something remarkable to motivate me to write a letter of appreciation to a company whose services I am paying for. And here I am, writing to say THANK YOU for the remarkable support I have received from the members of your Terminix team.

The idea of rats in my house is extremely unsettling. It was with a sense of urgency that I called Terminix. Within a few minutes I received a call back from a Terminix representative who I will forever think of as my guardian angel. There is no part of me that understands what motivates a person to be willing to crawl around scary rat-invested areas trying to figure out the scope of the problem and how to best resolve it. I am, however, grateful that she decided to join Terminix and crawled around in my attic! She is a wonderful representative for your company. She was completely committed to finding a solution to my problem. She kept telling me about the "most incredible team of people" with whom she worked. She said they could be counted on to not only to fix the problem, but to do outstanding work. Boy, was she right.

My service technician came a few days later and in his friendly, competent, gracious way, cleaned up the dreaded rat debris, sealed off the potential attic entrances and repaired the external house vents in a very high quality way. You should see it – the Terminix representative was right. I was very impressed with my service technician’s work and with his kindness in working extended hours to complete it.

The bottom line is that I made a phone call to Terminix believing that I would deal with an impersonal corporation that would do what was minimally necessary to fix the problem. What I got was a complete commitment by a team of caring professionals who worked miracles within my budget and my schedule. It felt less like a national corporation, and more like friends and family coming to my rescue. Your group at Terminix is rare, and I am grateful to have benefited from their caring, competent help. You can buy skills, but you can't buy that sense of sincere caring - that sense of pride in doing a good job. They wanted to do the job right, and they did.

I have used your service since we returned to Texas in the fall of 2004 for both termite control and pest control. And have been very pleased with the service that your company has provided. But the reason I write today is to provide you with a customer's insight to one particular employee.

Sometimes when your company services our house we are not at home, but today I was. I met my technician about a year ago when he performed the service and saw him again today when he was here to do the inspection and service. He remembered me from before and asked about my wife, who is presently in the hospital. I was impressed that he remembered his customers so well. You see, my wife is on oxygen therapy 24 hours per day, and my technician remembered the sensitivity of her breathing. We talked for a while, and he asked if I was having any problems and I said that I had seen some small pests, smaller than ants, in my garage. We went to the garage where he saw the pests, called them by name and showed me that they were coming from a flower bed on the outside wall of the garage and that he could spray for them. I asked if, since my wife was in the hospital for several more days, could he treat the inside of the house. He removed his shoes before coming into the house then treated the inside.

I would like it noted that my technician demonstrated the skills of a true professional. He was caring, concerned, knowledgeable and technically competent. These assets along with his attitude makes him, in my eyes, a very valuable asset of your team. I will always know that when he is here to do the service it will be done to a high standard.

I would like to commend my service representative for her friendly and professional attitude when serving her customers. She has been my service professional for over a year and every time she comes to my door, she always has a smile on her face and presents herself as I would want anyone in any profession to do. She represents Terminix in a manner that should make you proud. I hope she continues to be my service representative for many years to come.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 17th, my young teenage daughter and I had the unfortunate event of a flat tire. I am a very small, 93 lb. woman, and there was no way I could have lifted the spare tire, much less “jacked up” the vehicle. Your technician was on his way home and actually turned around to come help us. He was so kind and helpful. He had my flat changed in no time. Because the spare was low on air, he took the time to follow me because I had to drive quite a bit slower than the speed limit. I made it safely to the nearest gas station and he proceeded on.

Please make sure that he knows how grateful I am and his kind act should not go unrecognized. Your company needs to know and should be proud of this person you have working for you. There aren’t many people left in this world that would stop to help and want nothing in return. Thank you.

After the technician left my home on Monday, July 16th, I was thinking about what he had done and I became very impressed and touched. He had worked me into his very busy schedule and came to the job with a caring attitude and a focused approach. He was here for a re-spray because I had noticed a lot of black spiders. He went above and beyond his call of duty and I even saw him spread granules on the grass, which I did not expect him to do on that day.

I just wanted to let you know what an excellent job we think our technician did in inspecting our home for termites. We have had three other termite inspections and none even compare to the one he did. We had a guy from a competitor out here just a few weeks before our Terminix technician and he found no termites……in fact, he said that because our soil was so rocky, we really didn’t even need to worry about termites at all. He also did not inspect the inside of our home. The other two inspectors found nothing either. Our Terminix technician found termites in three different places and inspected every square inch of our house. We really appreciate his thoroughness and are very thankful we called Terminix now!

I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the service we have received from your employees at Terminix. Our first contact with your company was with your Certified Inspector. The representative was on time for his appointment, professional, and thorough with his inspection of our home. He provided me with brochures, and took the time to go through the paperwork and the quote. Due to his exceptional service and professionalism I made the decision to do business with Terminix, especially after interviewing four other competing companies.

I also had treatment for carpenter ants performed and another representative from your company was on time and very attentive to my concerns about the treatment. Lastly, the technician who treated the perimeter of our home with the termite application was prompt for his appointment, courteous and knowlegeable.
